Qualifications
  • Those who have graduated from a four-year university (including those who are scheduled to graduate by March 4, 8) or those with equivalent or higher academic ability.
However, the following people are not eligible to take the exam:
  • A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or more and has not yet completed the execution of that sentence, or a person who is on a suspended sentence or who has not yet become free of the sentence
  • A person who has been subject to disciplinary dismissal or equivalent disposition, and two years have not passed since the date of the disposition.
  • Those who do not have a status of residence with no restrictions on activities in Japan

Employment period
  • No fixed employment period
  • There is a trial period (6 months)
  • Retirement age: 62 (as of April 7, 4)
    *The retirement age will be gradually raised by one year every two years, to be completed in fiscal year 2 (retirement age 1).

Salary, etc.

[University graduates or those with equivalent academic ability] Monthly salary: 264,000 yen and up
[Master's degree holder] Monthly salary: 276,000 yen and up
[Doctoral degree holder] Monthly salary: 289,000 yen and up
*The above includes a uniform regional allowance.
Based on this, additional pay will be added based on work experience up to the time of hiring.
- If certain requirements are met, various allowances such as commuting allowance, housing allowance, dependent allowance, and overtime allowance will be provided in accordance with the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (National University Corporation) Employee Salary Regulations.
